What data we process
We mainly process technical information needed for the website to work, such as language preference and anonymized usage statistics. Calculator values you enter are used locally in your browser to show results.
Purpose and legal basis
We process data to provide core functionality, improve user experience, and maintain secure operation of the service. Processing is based on legitimate interest and, where required, consent.
Storage and sharing
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary and we do not sell personal data to third parties. Service providers only receive data required to deliver their part of the service.

Technical services and data
The website is delivered and protected through Cloudflare, which may process IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and timestamps in technical logs. When enabled, Umami loads through /stats and processes page views and coarse allowlisted interaction events. Calculator inputs and calculated amounts are explicitly blocked from those events in the code.
Calculator values, browser storage, and sharing
Calculator values are processed in your browser. They are added to a share URL only when you choose the sharing feature. Local storage may hold a cache of public tax data and your PWA-banner choice; the service-worker cache may hold visited pages and assets. You can remove these by clearing site data in your browser.
Retention, providers, and your rights
During ordinary use, the calculator does not store entered amounts on Räkna.nu's server. If you open a share URL, its values are part of the address and may therefore appear in browser history, with the recipient, and in technical URL logs. Browser data remains until you clear it or the browser evicts it. Retention for security logs and Umami statistics is controlled in each service configuration; ask [email protected] for the current period or information about providers and possible transfers. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
